MACS FACTS:
The Series has had four events scheduled at Sharon including this year. Sharon’s first MACS event was under Ed Skillman’s regime and was on July 16, 1997. Two events thus far were actually presented with Todd Andrews and Chub Frank being the winners. The show in 2001 was cancelled. The average MACS car count per event at Sharon is 34, which is commendable since Sharon doesn’t have a regular Late Model division as a part of their Saturday night programs.
Current MACS average car count for the season is 48.
As of July 29, the Series has had six different winners in seven events. Jeremy Miller (2), Mike Balzano, Scott Bloomquist, Jason Covert, Scott Haus, Gary Stuhler each claiming one each.

• 183 different drivers have competed in the first seven MACS events this season.

• Ernie Shelton’s USA 100TM is coming at Bill Sawyer’s Virginia Motor Speedway, Saturday, August 19. One driver could win $11,000 from the $65,000 total purse. This year’s addition is a one-day event. Past Champions of the “100” that have already indicated they will be coming are Denny Chamberlain, Mike Balzano, and Chuck Harper.
